- What is the difference between credits and a subscription?
- Credits are used for measurements. Each successful measurement uses one credit and creates new 3D displacement data. A subscription gives you access to additional platform features, such as team collaboration, reporting, and advanced analysis.
- Do I need a subscription?
- No. The Basic workspace comes with every Monitoring Pack and requires no subscription. Professional Workspace is for customers who use Straintest as part of a professional workflow and want team access, branded and AI-generated reports and advanced project reporting.
- What happens to my data if I cancel the subscription?
- You always retain access to measurements you have already purchased, even without an active subscription.
- What is a monitoring point?
- A monitoring point is a crack, joint or structural element that you want to measure. Tags are installed on the structure so that movement can be measured and compared over time.
- Can I move the tags to another monitoring point?
- No. Each set of tags belongs to a single monitoring point. Once installed, tags cannot be removed to be re-installed on another point or reused. Order a new Monitoring Pack when you need more monitoring points.
- What is included in the Monitoring 10-Pack?
- The Monitoring 10-Pack includes a kit for 10 monitoring points, an activation (the initial measurement) for each point, 10 additional measurement credits, and access to the Basic workspace. The Basic workspace includes measurement results, 3D visualizations and charts, and access to all past measurements. Credits are valid for 12 months.
- How do I buy more measurement credits?
- Measurement credits are purchased directly on the platform, against an account you already have, so they are not something you choose up front. 10 credits cost CHF 99. Other packages and prices are available on the platform. Credits can be used on any monitoring point, are valid for 12 months and require no subscription.
- When does a credit get used?
- Only successful measurements consume credits. If a video cannot be processed into measurement data, no credit is deducted.
- Can I use credits on different monitoring points?
- Yes. Credits are not tied to a particular point and can be used on any monitoring point in your account.
- What does Professional Workspace add?
- Up to 5 team members, sharing and guest access, AI-generated reports, branded reports, advanced project reporting, temperature correlation, project-level data downloads and professional support, for CHF 799 per year, including one Monitoring Pack in the first year.
- Can I try Professional Workspace first?
- Yes. Professional Workspace starts with a 1-month free trial. After the trial it continues at CHF 799 per year.
- How long does processing take?
- Most videos are processed automatically within 30 minutes.
- When should I choose Enterprise?
- Choose Enterprise when you need larger teams, full white-labelling, multiple business units, drone measurement workflows, dedicated support, custom report templates, API or SSO, or measurement volume discounts. Enterprise starts from CHF 2'500 per year and is quoted per organisation.
